RTR FOUNDER – VAUGHN GITTIN JR
Better known as JR, Vaughn built his first Ford Mustang competition racecar in 2006 and kicked off a career in Formula Drift, Ultra4 Racing, and NASCAR that would lead to winning Formula D Championships in 2010 and 2020. It was also the beginning of an idea that would become RTR Vehicles. Vaughn realized an entire car culture existed inside the Mustang community, and he had found himself right in the middle of it. He saw that enthusiasts like him wanted a more personalized touch for their vehicles but there were limited styling options available, and none that met his vision for what Mustang could be. That’s when the vision for RTR was born.
